    2. @BorneoCicada Yeah. Thanks. I know you mean well, but I’ve been doing yoga on and off for years, and what may serve to stop me is the disc deterioration at the L4 L5 level and numbness and tingling, & pain down my left leg.

      Tried everything, and they say the only option now is fusion. I’m 55, and believing All Mighty God for a miracle.

    4. @BorneoCicada Yes I have. Weeks and months and years. It’s deteriorating disc, and the left neural foramen is impacted. Was nothing I can do at this point other than believe God for a miracle

    1. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought he was going kinda fast haha if I went up that fast I think I’d fall over😂 not to mention there’s probably not a ton of control over the breath going like that

    2. There are videos of Iyengar teaching students at very rapid, high intensities. Even with repetitions that look more like calisthenics than the style of asana you describe.

      As a non Indian I can affirm that some Indian lineages did incorporate faster movements. And how does the speed of movement dictate the amount of mental reverence to divinity?

      I could go on. But I believe it is more efficient for me to say that Indian spirituality dictates the use of discernment. Time to start applying it.
